US Embassy Compound Security Upgrade Dhaka, Bangladesh

The Project is on two compounds owned by the U.S. Government in the Baridhara section of Dhaka. The US Embassy in Dhaka is planning security upgrades and renovations to access control buildings, gates, perimeter walls, exterior of existing buildings and the Consular Affairs Section.

Security upgrades and renovation work will take place at the existing Chancery, Office Building, Motorpool, Commissary, Marine Security Guard Quarter and Gates 1,2 and 4. Two existing Compound-Access-Control Buildings, with a total size of 85sm, will be demolished and replaced by new upgraded versions with a total size of 235sm.

In order to minimize impact on-going Government Operations on these compounds, a delicate logistics and execution schedule will be implemented including night-shifts, weekend and holiday work.
