This design-build housing project involved the construction of a new barracks structure featuring 584 rooms, complemented by extensive site work and the strategic relocation and connection of existing utility services. The project focused on creating a functional and efficient living environment for personnel, ensuring that all aspects of the facility met the necessary standards for comfort and accessibility.
In addition to the new barracks, the project included significant upgrades to recently completed site infrastructure systems. This encompassed enhancements to the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and the water supply system, ensuring reliable services for the entire compound. Furthermore, the existing Dining Facility received an overhead protective cover, providing essential safety and comfort for users during inclement weather.
As part of the project’s scope, a communication tower measuring 100 meters was also integrated into the contract as a modification. This tower was constructed in a remarkably short timeframe of just four months, demonstrating the team’s commitment to timely delivery and efficient execution. Overall, the project not only addressed immediate housing needs but also reinforced the infrastructure to support ongoing operations within the compound.
