The project involved a comprehensive range of activities, including the addition of residential buildings, renovations of existing structures, construction of a temporary office building, and a new dining facility. It also encompassed the development of open-air sports facilities, landscaping and irrigation works, roads and walkways, as well as site utilities and mechanical systems. The key components included a three-story and a two-story concrete frame staff residence building, along with a two-story concrete frame dining facility. These structures were equipped with essential connections for water, sanitary sewer, grounding, lighting, technical security systems, a power distribution panel, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, and voice, data, and television outlets.

A significant aspect of the project was the dismantling of a one-story pre-engineered office building from the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. This building was transported to Karachi, where it was reconstructed and renovated for use in the U.S. Consulate. The newly renovated facility covered an area of 1,600 square meters and provided a modern, secure workspace for 50 personnel. It included all necessary amenities such as open offices, private offices, meeting and conference rooms, training rooms, break rooms, prayer rooms, kitchenettes, lockers, restrooms, laundry facilities, technical rooms, and an entrance with a screening area.

Additionally, existing three-story and two-story residential buildings underwent extensive renovations to create essential expansion space. A new wastewater treatment facility was constructed alongside associated pumping and conveyance systems. A new onsite water well was also drilled, complemented by a newly installed treatment plant. Furthermore, the existing wetland treatment system was redesigned and expanded, including replanting efforts to enhance its effectiveness.
