This project involves a major upgrade to the Embassy’s water treatment system, ensuring high-quality potable water through enhanced storage, filtration, and distribution capabilities. Key aspects include improving the 307,760-gallon existing below-ground water storage tank, addition to new 2 pcs 5,000-gallon raw water tanks, updating filtration systems, and optimizing chemical injection processes. These upgrades will help secure a steady supply of treated water, advancing the Embassy’s commitment to safe and sustainable water management.
Significant improvements include modernizing multi-media filtration & reverse osmosis systems and chemical treatment systems—chlorine, sodium hydroxide, and orthophosphate injection—to enhance water quality and safety. Additionally, the distribution infrastructure, featuring triplex submersible booster pumps, will be upgraded to ensure consistent water flow throughout the compound. This comprehensive overhaul, from design to installation and commissioning, is backed by advanced engineering and high-quality materials to deliver an efficient, state-of-the-art water treatment solution.
The upgraded water treatment system will offer multiple benefits, including improved water quality, increased system reliability, and enhanced sustainability. By bolstering storage capacity and adding redundancy to critical processes, the Embassy will enjoy a secure, uninterrupted water supply that supports its sustainability goals. This project, led by Epik-Aquashine JV, ensures a reliable and efficient water treatment solution that meets the highest standards for U.S. Department of State facilities abroad.
