Technical Office Engineer

The Technical Office Engineer will support project execution by overseeing the technical aspects of construction and engineering projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with design specifications, conducting quantity takeoffs, preparing submittals, and coordinating with various disciplines to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Review: Evaluate design documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
• Quantity Takeoffs & Cost Estimation: Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in cost estimation to support project budgeting.
• Submittals & Coordination: Prepare and review submittals, shop drawings, and coordination documents relevant to the engineering discipline.
• Issue RFIs: Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify design intent and address discrepancies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical support roles within construction or engineering projects.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with engineering software and tools relevant to the discipline.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
